This building becomes animated with light when large sliding doors, windows, screens and walls throughout transform spaces and reveal cinematic views of the surrounding landscape, perfect for sunset rituals. The intention of this shoot was to show how the home nestled into the landscape. In one shot we can see landscape in front, to the sides, beyond the roofline, and highlighted by the flow from inside to out. Polished concrete floors diffuse and bounce the reflective light into the grey tones throughout creating a feeling of calm within the images. Special thanks to the owners who allowed me to capture them engaging with their ’living space’ throughout the day and into the evening glow.
